LUFKIN's performance testing facility allows engineers to monitor and gather data, insuring that each product meets or exceeds the most stringent industry standards and particular specifications. To the customer, this means smooth initial start-up and years of efficient operation.
Testing options include: Full speed no load testing to meet API 613, API 677 and AGMA standards, dynamometer load testing and back-to-back locked torque testing for higher powered units.
LUFKIN's test stand, driven by a 1,000 kW electric motor, is capable of delivering up to 2,000 l/min of oil at a pressure accurate to within 0.10 bar and regulated to within ± 1°C with a filter rating of less than or equal to 10 microns.
The data acquisition system is fully customizable to meet specific customer requirements for sound, vibration and temperature information recorded in specified time intervals.
